Trip Overview

Tarangire National Park is a wildlife reserve in Tanzania, known for its vast elephant population and picturesque baobab trees. The park is located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley, and it’s home to a large soda lake that attracts thousands of flamingos. The park is also home to many other animals, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and many others.

Detailed Itinerary

Leave at 7:30 am in Arusha and start your journey to the famous Tarangire National Park known for its large number of elephants and baobab trees. Upon arrival, proceed with game drives in the park to spot many animals including big cats, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes and a number of birds. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game drive till late in the evening. Dinner and night stay in a camp or lodge.
After breakfast, Tarangire National Park and drive to the vast plains of Serengeti with packed lunch. Arrive in the afternoon and do game drive searching for wild animals. In the evening, drive back to the the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Have your early morning breakfast served in your camp or lodge. Leave for a full day game drive in the Serengeti plains. Game viewing to spot Big Five, hippos, elands, zebras, antelopes and others. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game viewing till late evening. Transfer to your camp or lodge for a night stay.

After breakfast leave for Olduvai Gorge Museum, an anthropological site holding remains for the first human ever discovered. Have lunch enroute and proceed with the drive to Ngorongoro to arrive in the evening. Dinner and overnight at a camp or similar.

Have your early morning breakfast served. Start descending down the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera which is a home to a variety of animals and bird species.

Game drive in the crater to spot Big Five, elands, buffalos, jackals and thousands of flamingos. Ascend out of the crater to have lunch at a picnic site. Drive back to Arusha for drop off at your city hotel or airport to catch your flight back home.
