Trip Overview
Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater are three of Tanzania’s most popular national parks. Tarangire National Park is known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, while Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife.
Tarangire National Park is located in northern Tanzania. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, which can be seen congregating around the Tarangire River during the dry season. Other wildlife in the park includes lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and more.
Lake Manyara National Park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which can often be seen lounging in the branches of acacia trees. The park is also home to a large population of elephants, as well as hippos, giraffes, zebras, and more than 400 species of birds.
Ngorongoro Crater is a large volcanic crater located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
