Amboseli National Park is a protected area in Kenya known for its stunning wildlife and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Detailed Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi or Airport in the morning. Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park, a drive of less 5 hours to Amboseli, which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive with a short game drive, proceeding to your camp/lodge for check-in and have lunch.
Check in at your camp/lodge. Later have your afternoon game drives. Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography. Elephants, Lions, Cheetah and Buffalo can be seen at the swamp area. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.
Proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to your camp/lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out with packed lunch for more game drives. The Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. Game drive until around 1200hrs lunch time.
Afterwards check out of the park then drive to Nairobi a less 5-hour drive to Nairobi. You will arrive Nairobi in the evening for drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
